Australian Government subsidies to the food processing industry uses
ammonia refrigerant
Australia's clean technology investment plans the introduction of the first batch
of the 13 allowance subsidy fund, including two involved in the food processing
industry, to help the industry use ammonia refrigerant to replace the existing
chilled / frozen system. In the next few years, the fund will be used to support
more than 3000 projects, help manufacturers reduce energy consumption and
carbon emissions.
As part of the Australian Government's future clean energy plan, clean technol-
ogy investment plans as well as clean food and processing investment plan will
provide 805 million euros, and by investing in efficient equipment, low-carbon
technologies, processing, and product support domestic enterprises in today's
low-carbon economic environmentmaintain a high level of competitiveness.
For the forthcoming introduction of a carbon tax, as well as the carbon equival-
ent price, which will lead to an increase of more than three times the cost of th-
e imports of synthetic refrigerants. The funds provided by the Government will
help manufacturers effectively converted to ammonia and other low GWP of re-
